Best in the West

The main stage at the Best in the West Rib Cook-off in Sparks, NV recently provided the perfect setting for a Restless Heart performance. A sea of people, as far as the eye could see, enjoyed an evening of great entertainment accompanying the great array of foods that the event provides every year.
Our sincere thanks to Stephen Ascuaga along with Entertainment Director, Rob Brooks (both pictured below) and the stage crew of John Ascuaga’s Celebrity Showroom for making us feel so at home while we were in town.
It was a fantastic show! The smell of BBQ wafting through the air, thousands of people gnawing on ribs, corn on the cob, sweet potatoe fries, slurping ice cold drinks…all while listening to the magical music of Restless Heart! Let’s hope the Nugget brings you back next year for the Ribs Cookoff…and to their Showroom soon!
We were there !! Ater seeing them in Santa Rosa CA on May 11,1990 and then April 26,1991, I have to say they sounded and looked as good now as they did then… These guys are pure “class.” The sound is unbelievable! And I must say, they have all aged very well ..
I hope to see them in Calif during the summer of 2010. If you see No.Calif for a tour date, make sure you are there.. You will NOT be disappointed!
