Country Crossing Grand Opening

Group interview at Country CrossingRestless Heart, along with numerous other artists, helped kick off grand opening festivities at Country Crossing in Dothan, AL on Friday, January 15th.  Beginning late afternoon and continuing past 1 AM, others onstage for day one of the 3 day event included Neal McCoy, Confederate Railroad, Aaron Tippen and Little Texas.

 

LS with Brad Schmidt, News 2 NashvilleRepresentatives from media outlets as far away as Nashville broadcast from Country Crossing throughout the weekend.  Some of those present included Brad Schmidt from Nashville News Channel 2 (pictured), Storme Warren and Charla McCoy.  The show was streamed live on the internet and will also be a future TV special.  Clips for an “America the Beautiful” special for Fox were also filmed with various artists, including Restless Heart, throughout the night.   

The doors to Country Crossing opened on December 1, 2009 with several restaurants and a Bingo Pavillion.  Plans and construction are ongoing, and also include a Bed and Breakfast and outdoor amphitheatre at present, with much more to follow.  A short distance from Branson, as well as the sandy beaches of Florida, expectations are high for this new tourist and music lovers’  destination.
