Weeks after unending torrential rains that affected a major portion of the Nashville population, the city and surrounding areas continue the exhausting efforts of cleaning, salvage, and rebuilding. No one has gone untouched, from losing favorite places or cherished keepsakes to entire life’s possessions.
Just as the five transplanted members of Restless Heart came through everything relatively unscathed, the community that was adopted as home many years ago will come through this challenging time stronger and better in the end.
For anyone considering a visit to the capital of the “volunteer state”, if you are coming to be a tourist, you may have to wait a few months for places to be restored to their original grandeur but, more importantly, if you are coming to experience the spirit of people that will endure, plan to come to Nashville now and enjoy the CMA Music Festival (and Restless Heart)…
