I am sure this Christmas tour will be one to see, too bad all the shows are on the West Coast. A DVD of one of the concerts would be a great thing for those of us that live in the rest of the US????
Have a great time to those lucky enough to make it ![]()
Just got home from this concert here in New Mexico. It was AWESOME! Restless Heart sang “Wheels” and “Dancy’s Dream” then Collin came on and sang a Christmas song, and then “Little Rock” and “I Can Still Feel You” than Collin and Restless Heart sing some Christmas faves, then back to some hits, and back and forth. It was great. Believe it or not they did an encore to ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man” which rocked the house and ended with “The Christmas Song” Everyone in both RH and Collin were very interactive with the audience. It was just a spectacular concert and autographed guitars raffled off, as well as autographs after the show!
My husband and I just returned from the “Gift of Chritmas” concert in San Bernardino, CA. The concert was amazing! We loved how RH and Collin Raye merged thier music! BIG QUESTION???… During the concert, the stage went dark and THE RH member sang a chritmas solo in remembrance of his mother- about the greatest love/gift that was bringing santa to his knees… the whole concert hall was silent.. the song was amazing! The guests were sniffling… does anyone know the name of this song and if it has been recorded??? I really want to purchase a copy!
Just saw the “Gift of Christmas” concert with Collin Raye and Restless Heart in San Bernardino, California. All I can say is DITTO to the comment from Kimberley (above). I want to know what the song is the that the Restless Heart member sang solo about the “real purpose of Christmas.” If you get a chance to see this concert, buy the tickets. It is worth it. This is the second time I have attended one of Collin Raye’s Christmas concerts–always superb. Restless Heart’s harmony is absolutely incredible.
Thanks for posting on here about the show! The RH member that sang that wonderful Christmas Song is Paul Gregg..according to what he said at the Gatlinburg show it was written by a friend of his about 10 years ago and has just kind of “sat there”, thank goodness Paul got it out of hiding is doing such a bang up job of performing it. I think it is Santa’s Prayer??? Someone chime in and correct me if I am wrong! As of yet it has not been recorded but from articles read the guys are doing a Christmas album (excuse me CD)for 2009 and I would hope with the response the song is recieving it will be on that CD.
Again thanks to all who have posted on these Christmas shows, I am looking forward to seeing it next week in Mississippi!
If you happened to take any pics would love to see them ![]()
Merry Christmas!!!
Yes, MW is correct….”Santa’s Prayer” is the song and it’s tremendous! Can’t wait to see the show next week.
That definately was the song of the night in San berdo. I also was hoping it had been recorded. MY office listens to the RH greatest hits every day and I would love to share that with them. Any chance RH band/group members read this and could fill us in on when or where we can get a copy of Santa’s Prayer. I was soooo impressed by this concert and the fact that both Collin and RH seemed to genuinely believe in God and weren’t afraid to says so. With the Economy and life the way it is now, it sure lifted my spirit and gave me hope that there are lots of people who make this world a better place and RH and Collin are some of them. For those who are yet to see the concert, wish i were you and could see it again. It was fantabulous to say the least.
Wow!! Just came from the “Gift of Christmas Concert” show in Oroville, CA. What an amazing performance from Collin Raye and Restless Heart. My favorite song was “Santa’s prayer”. This song as well as others brought tears to my eyes, and looking around other people too. This is a must see concert!!
The Oroville, CA show was AWESOME!!! This was my first time seeing Collin Raye or Restless Heart. They were great. Our favorite song was “Santa’s Prayer” too. It also brought tears to our eyes. I hope to see that song on the Christmas CD.
I also saw the concert in Oroville, CA. Restless Heart was amazing and I loved Santa’s Prayer, it was like everyone held their breathe while he sang, it was a truely magic moment.
What a great show in Oroville!!! Yes, Santa’s Prayer should be recorded for everyone to hear. What a perfect Christmas song. I hope that the lyrics are posted sometime soon. Pairing Collin Raye with RH was a real treat. If you get the chance to see them together you won’t be sorry. I was also impressed by the newest member of RH. She really brought a lot of talent to the stage.
Thanks for your post, but please note that the “new girl” is part of Collin’s band not RH,they already have a keyboard player!
We saw Collin Raye and Restless Heart last night (12/19) @ Gold Strike Casino in Tunica Ms. The Concert was wonderful. I agree the song Santa’s Prayer should be recorded. I came home and was looking online for the song. I just want to thank you for the wonderful Christmas treat.
The holiday show at the Gold Strike was fabulous! Thanks for booking this show and coming back to Tunica again. Looking forward to the 2009 tour.
I was at Tunica and was very please with what I saw and heard. I to think Santa’s Prayer should be recorded, but I’m the writers Pastor and I think all His songs should be recorded. May God Bless you all.
